When you’re chopping trees or catching fish or doing one of the other various and sundry tedious skill tasks that tend to numb the mind on RS, a fun diversion can be reading through the Rants forum.

Here’s a good example - a thread entitled ‘JAGEX, You Really Are Cold’. It contains such gems as “Why are you so dang stupid Jagex … You honestly don’t know what your doing, I wonder if Jagex staff have been replaced with monkeys” and “You just delivered the final blow to kill Runescape”.

Why is the thread starter annoyed? Because Jagex listened to a lot of complaints about Bounty Hunter being ruined by groups ganging up on individual players. So, they changed BH to make it more PvP and less PPPPPPPPPPPvP … just like everyone seemed to want. However, to the thread starter … “So us clans don’t matter to you Jagex?” and as a supporter says, “All we want to is to fight other clans like we did in the old BH arena.” Uh, dudes … ever hear of Clan Wars ?

And the fun doesn’t stop with the insane thread starters. Pretty much any opinion is good enough to start an argument …

“I would like to meet these super-intelligent monkeys that
can type and maintain a MMORPG all by themselves. ”

“Well monkeys would be smarter compared to Jagex,
they would know how to make a game FUN”

“And noone cares about you [username] or your
stupid opinions. If u died noone would care”

” Your just a noob no one cares for who cant fight
without a clan, gtfo. and i quote! NOOB”

Ahhhhh … good stuff
